Truck Tracker- Modifying a Sales Order

At any stage during the Order process a Sales Order may need to be amended, for example:

  • Change Date of Delivery

  • Add Products to Order

  • Remove Products from order

  • Change delivery address

Any change to a Sales Order will trigger a notification event orderModified and/or deliveryDateChanged. Each time a modification is made, a new XML will be generated and sent to the Getswift application.

To modify a Sales Order, refer to the following Frameworks process:

  1. Maintaining a Quote or Sales Order

  2. Once the order is modified and updates saved, the notification task OrderModified as configured under Getswift - System Administration & Setup will now create a revised .xml order and send it to the Track Trucker Application.

XML output files will be placed in the /prostix/live/getswift/send folder and sent to Track Trucker automatically. To view files that have been successfully sent, refer to the /prostix/live/getswift/archive folder.

Any errors with the notification sent can be found in the Notifications Event Queue, these will be displayed as Processed with Errors:

Refer to Truck Tracker- Store and Forward to re-queue any failed tasks for resending.
